Carlos Dell Harris

Carlos Dell Harris, 55, of Grand Ridge died Friday, December 21, 2012 at his home. A native and life long resident of Jackson County, Mr. Harris was a retired employee of Sunland Center, a farmer and a avid basketball fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Harris. Survivors include his son, Robert "Robby" Harris and wife Sierra; two grand daughters, Garcelyn Marie and Ansley Elizabeth all of Grand Ridge; his mother, Marie Harris of Grand Ridge; one step daughter, Keesha Childs and husband Allen of Grand Ridge; one brother, Robert Larry Harris and wife Sara of Sneads; two sisters, Carolyn Baxter of Malone, Florene Watford and husband Bobby of Vale, NC. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday, December 23, 2012 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Wayne Fussell officiating. Interment will follow at Carpenter Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until funeral time Sunday at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
