Carl Edward Delph

Carl E. Delph of West Carrolton, Ohio died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Jackson Hospital. A native of St. Charles, VA. Mr. Delph had resided in West Carrolton for most of his life and was employed with Miami Paper Co. for over 40 years. A US Army veteran he served during the Korean conflict and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Edward Delph; his parents, Ballard Emory and Minnie Ella Delph; two sisters, Helen Parks and Ruth Delph; two brothers, Earl and James Delph. Survivors include his wife, Helen Delph of West Carrolton; one daughter, Gloria Jean Rich and husband Harvey of Keller, TX; one son, Denver Lee Delph and wife Felicia Farris of Marianna; four grandchildren, April and Heather Rich, Christy Delph Cook and Dylan Lee Delph. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm Friday, January 27, 2012 at Maddox Chapel with a Time of Remembrance being held at 7 pm with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. Additional graveside services will be held at 12 noon Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Lee Memorial Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA."
