Byron Robert Murphy

Byron R. Murphy, 55 of Graceville (Poplar Springs Community) died Tuesday July 28, of injuries he received in a vehicle accident. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church with Revs. Chester Padgett and Kent Lampp officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at Bethel Baptist Church on Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or those wishing may make memorials to Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund 1349 Hwy. 173 Graceville, FL 32440. Byron was born in Dothan, AL on September 5, 1953. He was in the Poplar Springs Class of 1972 and member of Bethel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his father Robert Murphy. He is survived by his mother Valeria Murphy of Graceville, son Christopher Murphy of Toccoa, GA, brother and sister-in-law Randy & Mary Murphy of Cumming, GA; nieces and nephews Jessica, Gracie, Steven and Brady.
