Burnice L. Register Bailey

Burnice L. Register Bailey, 91, formally of Tallahassee passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 in DeFuniak Springs. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Bailey resided in Tallahassee for many years prior to moving to DeFuniak Springs. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James B. Register, her parents Thomas Jefferson and Melessa Caroline Johnson Beauchamp and nine siblings. Survivors include one son, Jimmy Register and wife Carol of Alford; two daughters, Julia del Valle and husband Pano of Niceville, Freta McCall of Enterprise, AL.; one sister Ernestine Gable of Marianna; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Chaplain Lewis Dolan officiating with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Private entombment service will be at Meadowwood Memorial Gardens in Tallahassee at a later date. The family will receive friends from 10 am until funeral time Wednesday, January 9, 2013.
