James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Christopher Brandon Hobbs, 16, of Sneads, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Brandon is survived by his parents, Stacey and Felicia Merritt; two brothers, Joseph Blake Baxley of Grand Ridge and Jordan Merritt of Kynesville; one sister, Whitney Merritt of Marianna; paternal grandmother, Gloria Merritt of Midway; maternal grandparents Theo and Brenda Hobbs Sr. of Sneads; Three uncles, Theo Hobbs Jr. and fiance' Jana Branaman of Grand Ridge, Scott Hobbs and wife Joanne of Sneads and Randy Hobbs and wife Katey of Sneads; two aunts, Aprell Merritt of Tallahassee and Alaysha Merritt of Midway, and other friends and relatives Funeral services will be held 10a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Sneads Assembly of God with Rev. Juno Douglas and Johnny Ray Fontenot officiating. Burial will follow in Cow Pen Pond cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. (Central Time)Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Sneads Assembly of God.
