James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Fl 32446 850.482.2332 850.526.4143 FAX www.jamesandsikesfuneralhomes.com Bonnie Hicks Peacock, 93, of Marianna formerly of Cottondale died Monday, December 20, 2010 in Marianna at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Lou Roberts where she had lived for the past five years. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, retired from Cottondale High School from the cafeteria. Mrs. peacock was the oldest living member of Cottondale Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member. Mrs. Peacock was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jake Peacock: four brothers and one sister. Survivors include her son, Edwin E. "Buddy" Peacock of Bonifay; four daughters, Bobbie Harris and husband, Wayne of Cypress, Sadie Dixon of Tallahassee, Shirley Barwick and husband, Jack, Kathy Roberts and husband, Lou all of Marianna; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.; two sisters-in-law, Lillie Hicks of Graceville and Jean Pettis of Malone; special care giver, Mary Smith. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Henry Matthews & Dr. Huw Christopher officiating. Burial will follow in Cottondale Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
