Bobby Allen Padgett

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Bobby Allen "Bubba" Padgett, 40, of Cottonwood, Alabama died Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Born in Gainesville, Florida, Mr. Padgett had resided in Jackson County for most of his life. He was employed in the construction and trucking industry his entire life. At the time of his death, Mr. Padgett was employed with Roadrunner Environmental Services in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Bubba enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his girls. He deeply loved his home, his family, and his friends, and he was deeply loved in return. He will be greatly missed by those remaining. He is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy J. Padgett. Survivors include the love of his life and mother of his children, his wife of 18 years, Brandy Padgett; his three daughters Jessica, Lacy and Cassy Padgett, all of Cottonwood, Alabama; father Raymond Padgett and wife Billie Jo, brother Michael Padgett and wife Tanya, sister Felisha Padgett, all of Perry, Florida; brother Jonathan Bowden and wife Nancy of Tampa, Florida; A special mentor/friend Calvin Brown "Boss" of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and a host of nieces and nephews. Bubba had many friends that he considered his extended family. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Keith Johnson officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Friday, March 1, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
