Bobbie Jo Turner Conroy

Bobbie Jo Turner Conroy, 43 of Cottondale passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. Bobbie Jo was born in Marianna on November 23, 1964. A 1982 graduate of Cottondale High School, she received her AA in Business Administration from Chipola Junior College. Bobbie Jo worked in the medical field in Valdosta, Ga for 15 years before returning to Cottondale. She was a paraprofessional with Cottondale Elementary School. Bobbie Jo was den leader with Pack #176. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna where she served as AWANA Cubbie Director. She was preceded in death by her father John Henry Franklin Turner, Sr. She is survived by her husband Mike Conroy, son Joseph Michael Conroy, daughter Abby Michelle Conroy, mother Vera Glass Turner all of Cottondale, father-in-law and mother-in-law Don & Anita Conroy of Enterprise, AL; three brothers John H. Turner, Jr.(Vanita) of Cottondale, Troy Turner(Cathy) of Madison, FL, Stafford Turner(Tina) of Chattanooga, TN; four sisters Lula Chambliss(Charles) of Bascom, Vera Mae Walsingham of Hosford, FL, Sarah Frances Chambliss(James) of Pattison, MS, Patricia Breeland(Clifton) of Milton, FL; two sisters-in-law Tina Conroy(Bobby) of Palm Coast, FL, Karen Mills(Wyatt) of Ino, AL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. , Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Marianna with Rev. David Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church of Cottondale Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel directing. In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to Bobbie Jo Turner Conroy memorial fund P.O. Box 405 Cottondale, FL 32431. Family will receive friends at the James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
