Billy Joe Werts

Billy Joe Werts, 50, of Bonifay, died Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Flowers Hospital in Bonifay. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Werts was a fromer employee of the Social Securiy Administration, retired from the Coca Cola Company and a US Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his partents, Harold and Mary Lipford Werts. Survivors include his son William "Andy" Werts and wife Amie of Cottondale; three daughters, Kimberly James and husband Michael of Bonifay, Megan Werts of Grand Ridge and Amber Faulk of Ozark; two brothers, Ronnie Wayne Werts and Larry Martin Werts both of Apopka; three sisters, Genell Hoskins and huaband Ruben of Panama City, Sally Ray and husband Eugene of Marianna and Diane Tyus of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Austin Duvall, Lilly Ann James, Hailey James, Payton Berkley, Tristen and Tyler Werts. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at Maddox Chapel, burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery with military honors provided by the Sneads American Legion Post 241with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel direcitng. The family will recieve friends Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 12 noon till funeral time at Maddox Chapel.
