James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Billy W. Rhoden, 79, of Chattahoochee died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Macclenny, Fl., served in U S Army, retired from CSX Railroad after 38 years of service. Mr. Rhoden was a member of The Church of Christ in Chattahoochee. Preceded in death by his grandson, Luke Burnsed. Survived by his wife, Mary Inez Cox Rhoden; three sons, Eddie Ray Rhoden of Jacksonville, Bruce Rhoden of Macclenny, David Rhoden of Starke; two daughters, Karen Carter of Macclenny, Victoria Lorick of Lexington, Ky.; one sister, Alice Berry of Jacksonville; two brothers, Elijah Rhoden of Starke, Jamie Rhoden of Jacksonville; eleven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. CST Saturday, April 12, 2008 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel in Marianna with Rev. Al Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Chattahoochee, with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. CST Friday April 11 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel in Marianna.
