Billy Philip Cox, 77, of Marianna died Monday, November 28, 2016 at his home.
Billy grew up in Quincy, Fl. He served in the United States Air Force for 25 years where he was a Chief Master Sergeant. After serving his country, he resided in Marianna where he was a educator with the Jackson County school Board where he later retired.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Cox and his father, Philip Cox.
Billy is survived by his Mother, Myrtle Johnson Cox; Son, Philip Cox of Marianna; daughters, Jennifer Nolan and husband, Tony of Lake City, Courtney Beck and husband, Alex of Bristol and Heather Taylor of Evergreen, Al; Sister, Ann Cox of Greensboro; five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kevin Yoder officiating James & Sikes Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Friday, December 2, 2016 and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
