Billie Paul "Joe" Windham

Billie Paul "Joe" Windham, 82, of Greenwood died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, retired from Sunland as a supervisor, past member of the Greenwood Lions Club. Mr. Joe was also a member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his wife Helen Patrick Windham, his sister, Mary Ellen Roberts; three brothers Rex, Ralph & Ray Windham. Survivors include one son, David Windham and wife Linda of Marianna; two daughters, Lynn Baxley & husband Joey of Greenwood, Sheila Reeger and husband Chris of Jacksonville; one brother, Register "Cus" Windham of Panama City; four sisters, Martha Minx of St. Augustine, Madelyn Cowart of Wewahitchka, Sara Spencer of Shalimar, Pat Chapman of Destin; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 24, at 10 a.m. at Dellwood United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to service time at the church.
