James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel William "Bill" LaDon Livingston, 36, of Marianna, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at his residence. Bill was born in Tallahassee, but had resided in Marianna, and worked as a Paramedic/E.M.T./Fire fighter for more than 15 years. He was a member of Salem Free Will Baptist Church in Steel City. He loved hunting and fishing and watching Austin play baseball, and watching Lillie dance. He also loved fire fighting and being a paramedic until his illness in 2006. He was a loving and devoted father to his children, who were the love of his life. He was also a loving and devoted son to his parents, always telling them how much he loved and appreciated them for always loving him and taking care of him. He always wanted to help his fellow man and was a true friend to the many he has left behind. He also loved his Lord, and also loved the reading and studying of his Bible. He is survived by two sons; Christopher Livingston, of Chipley, and Austin Livingston, of Marianna; one daughter, Lillie Livingston, of Marianna; his father and mother, Don and Jean Livingston, both of Marianna; one sister, Donna Tharp and husband, Rick, of Ozark, Al.; one nephew, Kessler Tharp; three nieces, Paxton, Landry, and Milan Tharp, all of Ozark. Funeral services will be at 2 pm. Friday, January 21, 2011, at the Salem Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Donnie Hussey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday January 20, 2011, at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
