Betty Carol Sheffield, age 61, passed away Wednesday June 21, 2023.
She was a life long resident of Jackson County, FL where she worked many years in childcare. Betty Carol enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and traveling to the mountains.
Betty Carol now joins her mother, Sara Frances Nelson and sister, Linda Scamihorn, as they watch over her father, William “Porky” Nelson (Frances); her husband, Delton Sheffield of 22 years; her brother, William Nelson Jr. (Lisa), her two daughters, Amanda Ellis (Josh) and Abby Maloy, one son, Lance Maloy and two grand children, Grant Rivers Shelfer and Madison Grace Ellis, along with a host of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 2 PM at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Rev. Tommy Moore officiating.. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until funeral time at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
