She was born in Jackson County, October 8, 1927 to the late Jefferson Bryant and Birdie Stewart. She was a homemaker and member of Caverns Road Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her children Rufus and Peggy Williams. Her brothers Rufus Stewart, and Hilton Stewart, her sisters Waunell Baum, and Shirley Lipford, her step-mother Johnnie Mae Stewart. She is survived by her son Billy Bryant Williams and wife Lynn of Orlando, one granddaughter Cindy Knight and husband Scott ; one great granddaughter Katie. Two brothers Douglas Stewart of Marianna; and Willard Stewart and wife Roberta of Marianna and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Pastor Timothy Smith. . Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday at 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Marvin Chapel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted.
