Betty R. Galloway, 76, of Marianna died Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Marianna Health & Rehab.
Mrs. Galloway was born in Marianna, Florida, on February 9, 1947, to the late James Doyle and Lela Mae Broome. She was a longtime member of the Marianna Nazarene Church and used her passion for children as a daycare provider in her home to shape the lives of children for generations to come.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terry Galloway; and brothers, James Broome, Donald Broome, Buck Broome, and Clayton Broome.
Betty is survived by her brothers, Jerry Broome and Kenneth Broome, both of Panama City, FL; sister, Belinda Thompson and husband Don of Dothan, AL; Goddaughter, Whitney Basford; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Services will take place 2 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Revs. Ken Kirkland and John Broome officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
