Berta was born in the Parramore Community of Jackson County. She lived most of her life in Jackson County. Survivors include two brothers, Charles Cox of Theodore, Al., Larry Cox of Bascom; three sisters, Mattie Lou Brogdon of Bascom, Myrtice Kazee of Houston, Wilma C. Rauhe of Bascom. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb 16, at Circle Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Monroe Campbell & John Holley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to service time at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16. at Circle Hill Baptist Church.
