Benjamin Roy Grace

April 27, 1914 — January 28, 2010

Benjamin Roy Grace, 95, of Birmingham, AL, passed from this life to heaven on January 28, 2010, there to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and many loved ones gone on before him. Born in Georgia where he taught school, worked as a Civil Servant for the Air Force and served as Minister of Music at Morningside Baptist, Savannah, and Log Cabin Baptist, Macon, Ga. He and his wife, Clara Underwood Grace, retired to Graceville, FL, in 1976, where he enjoyed flowers, gardening, family and music. He served as Minister of Music at Bethel Baptist and Mt. Calvary before joining 1st Baptist Graceville where he loved singing in the choir and his Sunday School class. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2010 at Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Bart Brookins officiating, James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. He was predeceased by his wives Clara Underwood Grace and Kate Griffin (Hinson) Grace. His loving survivors are his son, daughter-in-law, four grandchildren and six great-grand children.
