Beatrice E. Wilson

Beatrice E. Wilson, 95, of Dellwood, Fl., passed away peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2010, at Marianna Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 26, 1914, in Dellwood, Fl., to the late Walter R. & Frances T. Conrad. She has been a resident of Dellwood all of her life except for living in Chattahoochee, Fl., from 1956-1974. She was employed with the Florida State Hospital retiring in 1974, with 30 years of service. She loved life and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, working in her yard and attending church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be long remembered for her loving nature, devotion and love she had for her family and others. She was a member of the Welcome Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion W. (Buck) Wilson; an infant daughter, two sons, Marion and Durrell Wilson; two brothers, Gordon and Roy Conrad; and sister, Stella Jeter. She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Gay and husband Earl of Dellwood and Wylodean Mirkinson and husband, John of Panama City; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Pauline Mercer of Columbus, Ga., and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jack Howell and Dr. Thomas Batts officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery near Dellwood. The family wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to all the care givers at Marianna Health & Rehabilitation Center & Covenant Hospice who helped care for Beatrice each day of her time there, and a special thanks to Judy, Christina, Frances, Sharon and Becky who cared for her in her home.
