Beatrice Myers Andrews

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Beatrice "Bea" Myers Andrews, 88, of Marianna died Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna. Bea was born near Graceville and lived all of her life in the Graceville area before moving to Marianna more than 5 years ago. Mrs. Andrews was a home maker and a past longtime member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. Currently she was a member of The First Baptist Church of Marianna. Bea was a prayer warrior, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Katie Myers; two brothers, L.P. Myers & Leo Myers. Survivors include her husband, Hoyt T. Andrews; her daughter, Myrtle A. Basford and husband, Lester; five grandsons, Bob Basford and wife, Nina, Mark Basford and wife, Karen, Matt BAsford and wife, Jennifer, Chuck BAsford and wife, Christina, Thomas Basford; eight great-grandchildren, Parker, Cherish, Shelby, Suellen, Grey, Landry, Brodie and Alec Basford. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Basford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Friday at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
