Barbara B. Marky

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Barbara B. Marky, 77, of Marianna died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Morton Plant Mease Countryside Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. Barbara was born in Panama and lived in Miami, Florida until retiring to Marianna in 1993. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Florida State University and was a Registered Nurse and later Head Nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. She loved her God and the church, her girls and her Seminoles. She sewed doll clothes, costumes, band uniforms, prom dresses and wedding dresses; she quilted, embroidered, cross-stitched, crocheted and needle-pointed heirlooms for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Marky Survivors include her daughters Debbie (Rick) Rosenberg, Patti (Bud) Judd, Sharon (Steve) Hauss, Carol (Scott) Anthony and Bobbie (Steve) Zuelke; her grandchildren Jennifer Rosenberg, Brian (Leslie) Rosenberg, Greg Rosenberg, Kevin Rosenberg, Jessica (James) Davis, Charlie Judd, Melodie Zuelke, Christopher Zuelke and Matthew Zuelke; her great-grandchildren Ethan Davis and Sam Davis; her sisters-in-law Esther, Iris, Jackie and Martha; her brother-in-law Gene; her nieces Bambi, Kathy, Dorothea, Julie, Diane, Barbara Dawn, Dawn, Jeanne, Iris, Linda, Donna and Angie; and her nephews Tom Jr., Michael, Tim, Bill, David, Drew, Ray and Bob. Funeral Services will be at the First United Methodist Church of Marianna Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 2:00p.m. (CDT). Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna, Florida directing. No visitation is planned.
