Barbara M. Lewis, 88, of Marianna, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. She was a resident of the Trace Memory Care Facility in Covington, LA when she went to meet her maker.
Barbara lived her life in Marianna, FL. She was a loving wife and mother to her husband and two sons, who were the light of her life. Throughout her life she enjoyed walking and exercising. Traveling was a big passion. She enjoyed singing in the choir at First Baptist Church and enjoyed participating and attending the theater at Chipola Jr. College. Work and family was a big part of her life. She worked at Graham Air Base, First Baptist Church, and Florida Land Title, all in Marianna.
She is survived by two sons, John Lewis and his wife, Affi from Harrisburg, PA, and James Michael Lewis from Covington, LA., along with her sister, Carolyn Ward from Covington, GA. The strong love she had for family continues in their lives.
The Family will receive friends Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow in Chapel of The Pines Mausoleum with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
