Audrey Fort Cook

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Audrey Fort Cook, 91, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011, at Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard. She was a homemaker, a very accomplished seamstress, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell (Bo) Cook; and two grandsons, Lowell and Dale Mader. She is survived by three sisters, Mary Madden of Winter Haven; Ellie Green of Marianna; Lona Baxley of Youngstown; one brother, Charles Fort, of Marianna; two daughters, Judy Sellers of Fairview, North Carolina; and Sharon Mader (John) of Marianna; four grandchildren, Steve Sellers and Jeff Sellers of Asheville, North Carolina; Stephanie Morrow of Waynesville, North Carolina; and Jennifer Prince of Fairview, North Carolina; two step-grandchildren, Julie Mader Jacobs of Marianna, and John M. Mader of Houston, Texas; one great-grandchild, eight step-great grandchildren, and three step-great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at James and Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel, Marianna, Florida, at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2011, with Darren Tucker officiating. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard Activities Fund, 2600 Forest Glen Trail, Marianna, FL 32446.
