She was born on December 2, 2008 in Fort Payne, Alabama. She went to be with Jesus on Feb. 11, 2009. in addition to her parents, other survivors include one brother, Ric Gable of Grand Ridge; one sister, Destiny Crossen of Tupelo, MS.; Paternal grandfather, Danny Harold Crossen, Sr. of Beebee, Ark.; paternal grandmother, Vickie Ballinger and husband, Jimmy of Fort Payne, Alabama; maternal grandfather, Eugene Samuel Ready, Jr. of Peoria, Ill.; maternal grandmother, Norma Jean Burch and husband, John of Grand Ridge; paternal great grandparents, Harold and Hallene Crossen and James L. Blake, Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Wilda Dixon; paternal great-great-grandmother, Mary Hansen; several aunts, uncle's and cousins. Ashlynn was an inspiration to many people while on this earth. Ashlynn was preceded in death by her uncle's, Christopher Lee Crossen and Eugene Ready ll; maternal great-grandfather, Norman Dixon; paternal great-grandmother, Cleta Blake. Graveside funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb 14, 2009 at Shady Grove Cemetery, Grand Ridge with Revs. Jack Howell and Bill Mayo officiating.
