Battuello Age 91, of Sneads, FL, formerly of Ypsilanti, MI, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009. He was born December 6, 1917 in Calumet, MI. He served his country as a Captain in the Army during World War II. He graduated from Michigan Tech in 1948 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Anton married Grace Bruder in 1942 and she preceded him in death in 1976. He married Jean Zettler in 1978 and she survives. Anton was a 3rd degree Knight in the Catholic Church. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1983 after 30 years of service. Anton is survived by his wife, Jean, his children Jim (Judy) Battuello, Marsha (Tom) Lund, grandchildren, Tammy (Rob) Harris, Tony Battuello, Maija (John) Rowland, and great grandchildren, Hannah Grace Harris and Randy Corey. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Joe, Marty, Ben and Francis and his four sisters, Mickey, Mary, Muffy and Teresa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 4, 2009 St. Johns Catholic Church,410 W. Cross St.,Ypsilanti, MI 48197 Family will receive friends from 9:30 -10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the church. Burial will follow in Arborcrest Cemetery in Ann Arbor,MI. A memorial service will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Marianna, Thursday, May 14, 2009.
