Annie Ruth Walker, 72 of Lynn Haven passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness with her family there to comfort her. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in Brown-Bush-Tindel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday 10:30 a.m. until time for service. Flowers will be accepted or those wishing may make memorials to the Brown-Bush-Tindel Cemetery Fund c/o Donna Tate 1088 Hwy. 173 Graceville, FL 32440. Ruth was born in Panama City , Florida on November 29, 1937 to the late Farris and Lessie Jordan Jacobs. To those of us who were touched by the life and love of Annie Ruth Walker, words cannot express our loss. Her home was always open with a warm and caring atmosphere. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, whose spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Charles T. Walker, four daughters, Shelia Walker of Lynn Haven, Thressa Allen of Fountain, FL; Cindy Scruggs of Lynn Haven; Debbie Burnette of Atlanta, GA., her siblings, Grady Payne, Billy Joe Payne, Johnny Payne, Raymond Payne, David Payne, Helen York, Barbara McCormick & Mary Alice Infinger as well as nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Jacobs and Sonny Jacobs.
