Annie Ruth Hussey

James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Annie Ruth Hussey, 89, of Marianna died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Jackson Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was a charter member of Holly Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Marianna. Mrs. Hussey retired from the Jackson County School Board as food manager at Marianna High School after many years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Emmett B. Hussey in 2008, one sister, Edna Earl Carlton; one brother, Byron Davis. She is survived by three sons, Ronald Hussey and his wife, Norma, Donnie Hussey and his wife, Betty, Leon Hussey and his wife, Judy all of Marianna; eight grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Tory and Trey Hussey, Ashley Thompson, Julie Wright, Sonya Wicker and Allan Williams; 18 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Donnie Hussey officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday, April 25 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
