He was born in Macon, GA., Survivors include his two sons, James York, of Corona, CA., Randall York of Granite City, IL.; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009 in the chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville with Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Lovewood Cemetery near Cottondale with James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at James & Lipford in Graceville.
