He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin E. and Lillian Wester Boone. Survivors include his wife, Kaye; one daughter, Melanie and husband Dana of Cypress; one son, Jake Boone and wife Lisa of Sneads; four grandchildren, Dustin and Charlie Alexander, Coty Lanphere and Sydney Ramos; two brothers, Dean and wife, Jeanette of Citronelle, AL, Richie of Cypress; two sisters, Beth Brogdon and husband, Don of Griffin, GA, Gail Cox and husband, Tim of Flowery Branch, GA; mother-in-law, Irma Hinson and sister-in-law Jo Jones both of Sneads. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Sneads Assembly of God Church with Pastor Juno Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Pope Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
