She lived most of her life in Jackson County where she was a homemaker. Ms. Golden was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bascom. She was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Edna Driskell; a son, James H. Golden. She is survived by two daughters, Karen J. Clements and husband, Joseph of Compass Lake and Hellon G. Bryan of Bascom; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Bascom with Revs. Greg Roberts and Gino Mayo officiating. Burial will Follow in the church cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
