She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, where she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Foran; a son, Rona Foran; her parents, Jack and Bessie Sexton; two brothers, Hubert and Jack Sexton; two sisters, Josie Mae Todd and Lucy Lipford. She is survived by two sons, Brady and wife Naoma, and Freddie Foran and wife Murray of Kynesville; two daughters, Myrtice Chapman of Clarksville, and Helen Capps of Marianna; one brother, L. Paul Sexton of Baker; three sisters, Rencie Pumphrey of Lakeland, Susie Mayo of Marianna and Annie Sue Dilmore and husband J.W. of Alford; 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Maddox Chapel with the Rev. Gino Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Maddox Chapel.
