Alcie Patricia Brown Wilson

Alcie Patricia Brown Wilson, 92, passed away at Jackson Hospital, November, 17, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Wilson was born September 30, 1922 to Joe Freddie and Maud Eldora Hutchins Brown in Ochlocknee, Thomas County, Georgia but lived most of her life in Marion County, Georgia until she married James Curtis Wilson in Russell County, Alabama on January 1, 1946, then moved to Jackson County, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, her parents, a granddaughter, Crystal Wilson, a grandson-in-law Elliot Burt, six brother Joseph, George, John, Morris, Tensley, Frank and two sisters, Addie O' Hern and Cartier Bennet all of Columbus, Georgia, She is survived by three sons, Don (Brenda) Wilson of Malone, Florida, Carey (Patti) Wilson of Grand Ridge, Florida; Bryan (Sherry) Wilson of Marianna, Florida, two daughters, Dora (Frank) Brannon of Cottondale, Florida; Darlene (Robert) Tidwell of Bascom, Florida. Grandchildren, Terese (Chris) Cassibry, Tanya Burt, Travis (Jesaca) Wilson, Aimee (Bryan) Newsome, Starla (Daniel) Price, Wendy (Randy) Benton, Adam (Karlyn) Tidwell. Step grandchildren, Jennifer (Joseph) Ranzanski, Sylvia (Stephen) Televich, Kim Reeves, Melissa (Jason) Loper, Sandra (William) Ward and Teresa (Jamie) Mills, Eleven Great-Grandchildren and fourteen Step Great- Grandchildren. Funeral services will be at The First Baptist Church of Malone, Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11 A.M. with Rev. John Smith and Rev. Wayne Fussell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery near Malone. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in Marianna, Florida, November 19, 2014. Asked to serve as pallbearers, Ted Baxter, Jimmy Wilson, Travis Wison, Adam Tidwell, Bryan Newsome and Randy Benton.
