James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Albert C. Karl, 88, of Marianna died Monday, July 27, 2015 at Jackson Hospital. Mr. Karl was born on August 4, 1926, the son of the late Frank A. and Anna Kirschner Karl. He married the former Ottie Redmon on May 17, 1952. Albert served in the US Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954 and was a retired aircraft inspector. He was preceded in death also by his brother, Frank Joseph Karl and a sister, Anna Mae Poguette. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ottie Karl; two daughters, Patricia Guy and Debra Dillard; one son, Gary Karl; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Crypt side funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Chapel of The Pines Mausoleum at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. The funeral cortege will leave James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel at 9:40 am.
