Adrian William Adair of Marianna died on August 19, 2012 at his residence. Born in Arlington, KY on August 27, 1933. He was married to Joann Foster for 37 years. He was a Korean War army veteran and retired after 25 years with Standard Oil. He spent his retirement years in Punta Gorda FL and in Marianna and enjoyed traveling the country in his motor home. He was a member of the Elks and a Freemason. He made friends easily and will be missed by all, especially the Eastside Baptist Church Fisherman Class, the Breakfast Group; David Dulaney, Jake Gunner, Gene and Polly Purvis, and Jim Watts and his good friends Benjamin Sellers and Yellow Dog. Mr. Adair was preceded in death by his brothers Britt Adair and Joe Ray Adair & grandson Kevin Kadletz. He is survived by his daughter Aleta Kadletz and her husband Jeff; son, Mark Adair and his wife Barbara; grandchildren Sean Kadletz and wife Lindsay, Michelle Kadletz; brother Drew Adair, and sisters Odelle Vantlin, Yvonne Dowd, Vickii Lynn Martin, Joann Myers and Delorice Clark Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday, August 24, 2012 at Maddox Chapel. Family will receive friends from 10 am Friday till funeral time. Additonal funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Charolotte Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, Florida. His final resting will be with his lovng wife Joann Adair. With James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
