James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Adam E. Bigale, 74, flew to heaven on the wings of an angel on April 8, 2013 at the Chipola Nursing Pavilion. Adam was born on November 15, 1938 to the late Adam & Stella R. Bigale. He was married to his devoted and loving wife Sharon on January 23, 1963. They spent 48 wonderful years together. Adam graduated from Beecher High School in Ill. And attended Purdue University where he played basketball. After college he joined the United States Army. Upon leaving the military, he worked as an electrical foreman on the Sears Tower and the John Hancock building in Chicago. Adam & his family moved to Marianna, Fl. where he became a farmer and a truck driver. He took great pride in driving and caring for his trucks. Two of Adams greatest loves were for his family and baseball. He loved his many years of coaching and up until recently he continued to watch his grandchildren play. He also enjoyed bowling where he was a league member. Adam was preceded in death by his parents Adam & Stella R. Bigale, his father-in-law Wendell (Potsy) Matthias, his brother-in-law Ed Rasche, and 4 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Sharon A. Bigale of Marianna, two daughters; Tami (Joel) Valdez of Lynn Haven and Tina (Roger) Wilson of Marianna, one son; Adam (Allison) Bigale of Marianna, eight grandchildren; J. C. and Victoria Valdez of Orlando, Megan Estrella and Carlee Wilson of Marianna, and Adam Patrick, Alex, Alli-Ann, and Bonnie Bigale of Marianna, two sisters; Pat Rasche of Ill. and Charlotte Bigale of Lynn Haven, and his mother-in-law, Bonnie Matthias of Beecher, Ill. Other survivors include four sisters-in-laws and their families and a host of nieces and nephews. Adam was a caring, humorous, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family and everyone who know him were truly blessed by his presence. He will be terribly missed. Funeral services will be 11a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Pastor Tom Holdcraft officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel. The family would like to thank the wonderful CNA's, LPN's, and RN's at the Chipola Nursing Pavilion that worked with and took great care of Adam. They would also like to thank the staff at Covenant Hospice.
