Mildred Louise “Millie” Saylor of Marianna, Fl., Passed away on January 11, 2024 at Jackson Hospital after an extended illness.
Millie had a personality larger than life, she was unforgettable to say the least. Before retiring, Millie could be seen most days at Jim’s Steak House as assistant manager/hostess. She had a passion for serving and socializing with the patrons. She had a beautiful smile as big as Texas and never met a stranger. Her zest for life rarely kept her still. She enjoyed going to local community events and if there was singing, then she could surely be seen dancing.
Millie was an amazing granny/mimi and anyone who knew her, knew that her grandchildren were her world. She was their biggest cheerleader and she loved to brag on them any chance she could. Throughout her life, she attended Salem Wesleyan Church and enjoyed being in attendance every time she was able to. She loved the lord and kept her faith during both the good times and not-so-good. Her presence will be overwhelmingly missed by her family and friends.
Millie was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby McMillan and baby sister Eloise McMillan. She is survived by her devoted husband, Floyd E. Saylor; daughters, Pamela l.
