Agnes Angela Miles Twarkins, 89, of Kinsey, Alabama died Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at her residence.
She was born August 16, 1932 in Graceville, Florida to Wiley Chris and Lina Adell Miles. After graduating high school, she worked for the First Bank of Marianna. She then worked as a car saleswoman at Harrison Rahal Chevrolet Buick before becoming a security officer for Farley Nuclear Plant. She was always a wonderful cook and eventually owned her own donut shop. One of her favorite things to do was travel, especially when it was a cruise off the coast of Florida.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Spencer Miles, Albert Doyle Miles and Wesley C. Miles; sisters, Martha Miles and Bonnie Griggs.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bullard (Matt); brother, Daniel “Don” Miles; grandsons, David Adam Skipper (Christie), James Eric Skipper (Melissa); great-grandchildren, Indigo Skye Skipper, Harper Lee Skipper, Cheyenne Brabbam (Brendon), Valiant Tew and Alexis Tew.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Reverend Allen Biggs officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
